Yesterday there was a car alarm going off. This is absolutely nothing new in Lima, and to be perfectly honest I have trained myself to tune them out. However, this particular car alarm went of for approximately four hours, AND they were parked directly in front of the house. So Ana Maria called the cops. And while we were waiting for the cops, the owner of the car showed up, so Ana Maria went outside to confront him (and stall), so when the cops showed up he was already pissed off and started yelling at the guy giving him a ticket. So awesome.
